It’s a playful yet thought-provoking reflection on how easily we can get stuck in the pursuit of material success, sometimes without realizing the trap we’ve flown into.

This piece, “Mad Because You Lion”, was inspired by the power of truth and the energy that comes when lies are exposed. The lion, with its fierce eyes and roaring expression, represents strength, honesty, and the raw force of calling things out as they are. I wanted to capture the intensity of standing firm in truth while also playing with the humor in the phrase itself—turning a common saying into bold visual art. It’s a reminder that lies may spark anger, but truth always roars louder.

“Big Trunk Elephant”, was inspired by the elephant’s symbolism of wisdom, memory, and quiet strength. I wanted to capture the commanding presence of this powerful animal, with its massive tusks and steady gaze, as a reminder of resilience and dignity. Elephants carry a sense of respect wherever they are found, and to me, they represent patience, loyalty, and the weight of experience. Through this piece, I aimed to honor the elephant’s greatness and bring forward its balance of gentleness and power.

“Hope Live Fight Breast Cancer Awareness Walk”, was inspired by the strength and perseverance of those battling breast cancer and the loved ones who walk alongside them. The empty shoes symbolize the countless steps taken in honor of survivors, fighters, and those we’ve lost, while the pigeon represents hope and endurance—ordinary yet resilient. I wanted this painting to capture the spirit of unity, courage, and remembrance that fills the air during awareness walks, reminding us that every step forward is a step toward healing, strength, and the power of community.

This painting, “Struggle Out the Pot to the Top”, was inspired by the challenges of breaking free from limitations and rising above adversity. The figure climbing upward represents determination and resilience, while the hands pulling at him symbolize the struggles, distractions, and opposition that often try to hold us back. I created this piece to show the fight it takes to push through hardship, stay focused, and keep climbing toward your goals no matter who or what tries to pull you down. It’s a visual reminder that the journey to the top is never easy, but strength and persistence make it possible.

The overlapping faces and hands represent the push and pull between what is hidden and what is revealed.
